Overview
Nestled in the Mpumalanga Highlands, Talbot Farm is situated in the “Trout Triangle” between Dullstroom and Machadodorp.
Just two and a half hours from Gauteng, approximately 20kms beyond the Machado Toll Plaza off the N4 along the Maputo Corridor. Talbot Farm is a self catering venue, with everything you need for a weekend away. All of our cottages are private, have fireplaces and outdoor braai facilities. Bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and showers.
The cottages are set on a 1000ha farm with spectacular views of the landscape, mostly rolling hills and valleys. The farm boasts nine trout dams, which are stocked annually, and is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna, making it an ideal location for birders and nature lovers.
We welcome pets at Talbot Trout Farm. All of our Cottages have fenced in Gardens that are safe for your pets to play around in while you can relax around the braai, on your patio or in front of the fireplace.
