Thaba Manzi is a working ranch where we ranch Nguni beef cattle on a "grass-fed" basis. Our Pedi indigenous sheep stud is one of the top in the country and our animals have won many awards.
We maintain a remuda of thirteen trail horses and cattle ponies.
Our 450ha game reserve is home to Giraffe, Nyala, Zebra, Impala, Red Hartebeest, Eland, Waterbuck and Gemsbok. We also have numerous smaller game including warthogs, vervet monkeys, baboons, porcupines, jackal and rooikatte. Leopards still roam the mountains.
Leave the smog of the city behind and 1 hour later you can breathe our fresh country air and watch the fantastic sunsets here at Thaba Manzi Ranch, favourite tipple at your elbow.

We enjoyed our stay at Thaba Manzi ranch very much. It is an excellent place if you want to break away from television and just want to find time for your family and nature again. We could do trail walking and bird watching, things that our family like to do.
