Thaba’Nkwe Bushveld Inn offers a truly unique experience for nature lovers, combining the charm of the African bush with the convenience of being just 5 km from Thabazimbi town. Guests and visitors can explore scenic hiking and mountain biking trails that wind through the property. Thaba’Nkwe boasts individually decorated self-catering chalets (full board is also available) and affordable backpackers’ cabins with a communal modern ablution block. All units are furnished with braai facilities, bar fridges, coffee stations and fans. Extra blankets and heaters can also be provided in the colder months. All self-catering chalets have a television and a selected DStv business package. The bush-themed restaurant offers a full A la Carte menu and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, except on Sundays. Thaba’Nkwe Bushveld Inn Restaurant boasts the best grills in town, and guests can dine inside the restaurant or on the wooden deck and enjoy the beautiful Bushveld sunset with an ice-cold beverage. Our truly unique Bushveld bar offers a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a pool table to challenge your friends and family with. Also on offer on request is Wi-Fi, Laundry service and free parking along with caravan & camping facilities. The main gate is fitted with CCTV cameras and a keypad/dial. Thabazimbi means "Mountain of Iron" and was named after the discovery of iron ore reefs in the area. The private game reserves of South Africa in the Waterberg promise some stunning accommodations in Thabazimbi.
