Located just 100 meters from Elands Bay Beach, The High Tide House offers contemporary, self-catering accommodation and features a plunge pool and a furnished patio with braai/barbeque facilities. This modern, double-storey holiday home features a spacious living and dining room that leads onto the furnished balcony, which boasts distant views of the ocean. Here guests can relax and enjoy a traditional braai/barbeque whilst taking in a majestic African sunset. High Tide House has 4 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom consists of a king-size bed with an en-suite including a bath and shower, the second bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bedrooms 3 and 4 feature 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are an additional 2 single beds situated in the common lounge area. There are 2 guest toilets, 1 on the upper level and 1 downstairs. Please note that the king-size beds can be configured into 2 single beds upon advance request. The contemporary living space boasts an open-plan layout and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a 5-plate gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The lounge offers a comfortable seating area, a smart TV with Netflix access, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Elands Bay is known for its water sports, guests can enjoy kayaking, swimming in the ocean, fishing and sailing. Nearby activities also include beach strolls, hiking and bird watching.


Elands Bay is a coastal town in South Africa’s Western Cape Province, located approximately 220 kilometres north of Cape Town, about a two-and-a-half-hour drive away. It is renowned for its excellent surfing conditions and is also known for its caves featuring ancient rock art. In 2009, Heritage Western Cape designated the Elands Bay Cave and much of Baboon Point (also known as Cape Deseada) as a provincial heritage site. Elands Bay and the surrounding coastline are considered significant habitats for birdlife, and the nearby Verlorenvlei wetland is recognised as a Ramsar site for its ecological importance.
