The farm lies on the R24, just 25 km north-west of Magaliesberg and 35 km south-east of Rustenburg.
It is a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria and half an hour from Rustenburg.
Thirsty Falls is a RETREATVENUE for anyone wanting a tranquil weekend breakaway, or a much needed few days of rest and relaxation.
There are 7 comfortable, self catering units- 3 x 1 bedroom cottages, 1 x 2 bedroom & 1 x 3 bedroom houses & 2 Open plan Studios ( Holiday flats), all clean and comfortable and fully equipped.
All cottages are privately positioned amidst the natural bush of the Magaliesberg mountain range.
All rooms lead out through sliding doors onto the patios, overlooking natures garden.
The dwelling area on the farm is all secured by electric fencing.
There is a communal Guest room at the farmhouse for DSTV . No TV 's in the units. A Studio unit has a full bathroom with regular bath..
Nature walks and bird life viewing is what nature offers on the farm.
'Activities and Things to do' away from the farm include -Wild life rehab centres, encounters, canopy tours, hot air ballooning, horse trails, candle dipping, Day Spas, shopping and much more. Magaliesburg village has its quaint shops and restaurants, while Rustenburg has all the amenities of a large town with shopping mall and tourist attractions. Pilanesberg, Sun City, Cradle of humankind, Sterkfontein caves and Lesedi village are all wonderful 'day outings' close by.
Thirsty Falls is a working farm, with a diversity of trees, herbs and plants growing to bring back the ecosystems of nature, without the harmful usage of chemicals. There is an Eco natural water swimming pool ( not chlorinated or blue). We enjoy sharing our little farm with anyone who enjoys nature; to reconnect in this tranquility and beauty !

A lovely long weekend! Accommodation was extremely comfortable and we will definitely go back when we need to relax and chill out.
