From R520 PPS
Situated in Colesberg, halfway on route between Cape Town and Joburg, the perfect stop-over for the tired tourist, is our grand old, yet modern guest house. This house was built in 1840 and restored to its former state in 2005. The thick walls, high ceilings and beautifully restored wooden floors, ensure a cool and pleasant atmosphere.
Although this house is part of our National heritage, we have changed the inside of the house, that each room is en-suite, has its own private entrance and offering each guest privacy.
The rooms are luxurious and spacious, all with a TV, tea/coffee facilities, fully air conditioned, a mini fridge and comfortable double or queen size beds. Our family unit consists of two luxury, inter-leading rooms, one room with a double bed and the other with with three single beds, fridge and a lounge suite.
Our sun-room has a mini kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, queen size bed, single bed, a lounge suite and a fire place. We have safe and secure, off-street parking with alarmed beams.
We are within walking distance of all the restaurants. This early evening stroll is enjoyed by most our guests, after a long and tiresome journey.

The room was spaciuos and comfortable. Great for a stop over. However, the lighting was very dim in the unit and floor boards are creaky and noisy.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Traveller's Joy. The rooms were beautiful, cozy and exactly what was needed after a long day's drive. I would have no trouble recommending it to anyone interested.

Using Sleeping-Out was an absolute pleasure. Not only was the service seamless, but we were delighted to be refunded for our accommodation as part of their promotion. What a win! I can heartily recommend the Sleeping-Out team.
