Tulbagh Mountain Cabin

Situated in the Tulbagh Wine Valley and at the foot of the Winterhoek Mountains, the Mountain Cabin is a beautiful self-catering wooden chalet for up to 5 people and offers a tranquil hideaway from city life.

The chalet comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as an outdoor shower. The main bedroom is located in the loft area and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, and is located on the ground floor. A three-quarter bed is available in a sleeping alcove above the living area for a fifth person. Situated on the ground floor, the second bathroom is equipped with a free-standing bath and a toilet.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. The lounge is comfortably furnished and opens onto a wraparound terrace that offers uninterrupted views over the valley and mountains, and guests may also spot the Springbok and Rooihartbees on the farm.

Guests can make use of the thatched-roof braai area, as well as the swimming pool. A socialising area is also available down a footpath, and a small river runs past the cabin.

The Mountain Cabin is situated 6 km from Wolseley, 15 km from Tulbagh, and 20 km from Ceres all of which offers various outdoor activities. Witzenberg also has a function venue with an outdoor swimming pool should the kids like to go for a swim.

Mountain Cabin is a self-catering wooden chalet located on a private farm, situated in the Tulbagh Wine Valley and at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains. The cabin is comfortably furnished and offers accommodation for 4 people and is the ideal hideaway for a tranquil break from city life. This wooden chalet consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is a loft area and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with 2 single beds. The open-plan lounge and kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, and an oven with a stove. The lounge area leads out onto a stunning wraparound terrace that offers uninterrupted views over the valley below where you can see Springbok graze and alos of the stunning Mountains. BBQ facilites are also on the premises for those late afternoona and evening braais. There is also a small river running past the cabing giving that sense of peace and tranquitlity. Witzenberg also has a function veniue where there is a outdoor swimming pool should the kids like to go for a swim. The farm is also host to occasional Springbok and Rooihartbees which you can see from your terrace. Mountain Cabin is located a drive from various nature reserves; 15 minutes drive from Tulbagh, Wolseley, and Ceres, and an array of outdoor activities.
