Twalumba, meaning “thank you” offers self-catering accommodation in Marloth Park, within a short walk of the Kruger Park fence overlooking the Crocodile River. It is ideal for groups of friends or families. Marloth Park is a wildlife conservancy that allows guests to see free-roaming wildlife and a wide variety of birdlife. Visitors can visit the restaurants or the Bushveld Atlantis Waterpark. The area is also suited for hiking and bicycle rides. Twalumba can accommodate 6 to 12 guests, in 3 units that are rented exclusively to one group at a time. Each unit has 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms.
Marloth Park is an ideal stop point for tourists and holiday travelers traveling to the Kruger National Park, to Mozambique, or to Swaziland. Many lodges and private houses are found inside the Park.
Inside Marloth Park (3,000 hectares), the freedom of movement is remarkable. Tourists can ride a bicycle or go for a walk on their own through the African bush. Movement is not confined to the housing units. While walking along the Crocodile River, visitors can watch spectacular wildlife scenes in the adjacent Kruger National Park. Local restaurants, shops, and a filling station are easily accessible.
