The very popular and well-known Wagon Wheel Country Lodge is conveniently located just off the N1, 1km from the charming Great Karoo town of Beaufort West on the Johannesburg side. The new owners have not only restored the charming Wagon Wheel's dignity but have also upgraded all the deluxe and standard bathrooms. The newly revamped rooms with crisp white bedding offer you the best value for money at very affordable rates. To satisfy the needs of all travelers we offer various types of accommodation from Deluxe, Standard and Economy rooms to family units, self catering, caravan facilities and backpackers accommodating up to 250 guests.
Accommodation :
Deluxe Rooms (17) these tastefully decorated rooms with white percale linen offer air conditioners and heaters as well as DSTV and tea and coffee facilities. 3, 4, 5 and 6 sleeper rooms available.
Standard Rooms (24) these include spacious family rooms as well as rooms with twin beds with air conditioners, heaters, DSTV and tea and coffee facilities. 3, 4, 5 sleeper rooms available
Economy Rooms (11) these comfortable rooms include family rooms as well as twin rooms and are excellent value for money. They have ceiling fans and tea and coffee facilities. They also have their own braai area. 2, 5 and 6 sleeper rooms available
Self-Catering Units (4) these units with fully equipped kitchens are well suited for extended stay visitors and can accommodate families as well. These units have air-conditioners and TV with DSTV. The family self-catering cottage has 2 bedrooms, 5 sleeper with full kitchen, own private garden with braai area. Ideal for long stays or family accommodation
Backpackers (5) These rooms are furnished with bunk beds and single beds and have a communal bathroom with their own swimming pool shared with the caravan park.
Caravan Park - caravaners have their own communal bathrooms as well as a swimming pool and braai area. Children can enjoy the backpackers room instead of setting up tents for an overnight stay.
