Overview
Hibberdene is a popular coastal resort about 95kms South of Durban and about 45 minutes by car on the highway. The village has five swimming beaches and there is some good scuba diving on the reef and fishing from the beach and rocks, which starts near to the railway bridge and continues for 4 kms to the old airport. Woodgrange-on-Sea is an upmarket area across the river on the South side of Hibberdene and a perfect place in tranquil surroundings, to get away with the family, from all the hustle and bustle of the city. This stunning holiday home and two cottages are sea facing with magnificent sea shore views, breaking waves and rocks. Experience the breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset from the comfort of the main bedroom, lounge and deck entertainment area. The fantastic high deck area offers you whale, dolphin and boat watching with 160 degrees of the most beautiful sea views and tranquillity, most appropriate for sun downers and your first cup of coffee in the morning, as well as excellent views of the sardine run in June/July. You can spot more than 70 species of birds, as well as a family of endangered blue duiker who inhabit the bush in the conservatory adjoining the left of the property and often crossing the lawn at sunset and certainly the ubiquitous monkeys whom you need to
be aware of as they like raiding. This is all set on a levelled property of 1900sqm.
This is a self-catering home with a main house and 2 adjoining cottages rented separately. Can also be rented entirely as one unit with special rate on enquiry.
PET FRIENDLY. Small socialized dogs welcome, by prior arrangement.
All units are fully furnished including linen however NO TOWELS are provided so you will need to bring your own. No daily cleaning.
All units come with TV & DSTV (Access) and a DVD player. Bring your own decoder for more channels.
PLEASE no smoking in bedrooms.
Weber braais in Main House and Flat 1 as well as braai facilities in the large lapa.
Arrivals to be after 2pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
Departures to be before 10am unless prior arrangements have been made.
Ski boat launch site within 1km.
A daily cleaner can be arranged if required.
