Kukama's Rest (Zebula 317) is a lovely bush lodge located in Zebula Golf Estate and Spa, close to Bela-Bela, consisting of a 5-bedroom house as well as an apartment, making it ideal for a group or family.
In the main house, 4 of the rooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while the fifth has a queen-size bed and a double sleeper couch. Each of the rooms also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath or a shower, while the main bedroom has a bath and a shower. The rooms are air-conditioned and some open onto a patio which offers a lovely Bushveld view.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains 2 fridge-freezers, a Falcon gas stove and electric oven, a microwave, a percolator as well as the necessary cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. A dishwasher, a washing machine is also available. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or at the outside dining area. The house also has 2 lounge areas as well as a children's lounge. The living area opens onto a patio, which has an indoor braai area.
The apartment is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The apartment also has its own kitchenette that contains a microwave, kettle and basic utensils.
The lodge also has a swimming pool and at night guests can relax and watch the stars from the boma. The lodge is serviced daily for guest’s convenience.
Kukama's Rest is wheelchair accessible, and guests will be able to enter through the front door, move around the ground floor lounge, and have access to the patio and outside dining area. Ramps and pathways provide access to the boma and to the apartment, and they are approximately 80 cm wide. Please note the washing basin and the toilet in the apartment is wheelchair accessible, but it does not have the necessary railings to support guests. The basins in the house are not wheelchair accessible.
The lodge is also frequented by 2 nyala as well as warthogs, and a bush baby can also be spotted in the early evenings. A variety of animals can be seen in the reserve and game drives can be booked on request. Located nearby is Elephant Encounters, as well as the Zebula Country Club and Spa for those who want to golf or just get pampered.
Kukama's Rest is ideal for nature lovers, eager golfers, corporate guests or guests who just want get away for a weekend.
