* Each cottage has a well-equipped KITCHEN allowing for easy self-catering. An enclosed COURTYARD offers the perfect setting for a barbeque. Chairs and a grill are provided.
* SAKKIE-cottage sleeps 4 persons in a double bedroom and living room with two single beds. The living room also has a vintage dining table and TV with local channels. No Wi-Fi. For warm winter comfort heaters and electric blankets are provided. The FULL BATHROOM has a bathtub and a shower.
* SAARTJIE-cottage is ideal for one couple or parents with 2 youngsters. Saartjie has a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (SHOWER only). Crisp white linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is well equipped. The living room is furnished with two single beds, a dining table and TV with local channels. No Wi-Fi.
* De Volkshuijs is within 30km from pristine beaches, NATURE reserves, the southernmost TIP of AFRICA and HERITAGE sites.

Saartjie is ideal for a couple or parents with 2 youngsters. Saartjie has a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower only). Crisp white linen and towels are provided as well as an electric blanket and heaters for your comfort. As with Sakkie, the kitchen of Saartjie is well equipped for easy self-catering. The living area is furnished with two single beds, a dining table with chairs and TV with local channels. The vine covered private courtyard provides secure parking and a traditional barbeque. The cottage is fitted with an alarm system for your peace of mind.

Sakkie cottage offers a comfortable stay to 4 persons sharing the bathroom. Sakkie's spacious bedroom has a double bed and two comfortable chairs. White linen, towels, an electric blanket and heaters are provided for your comfort. The bathroom has a bath and shower. The living area has two single beds, a dining table with chairs and TV with local channels. As with Saartjie, the kitchen is well equipped, complete from coffee plunger to an iron and ironing board. The private covered courtyard offers secure parking and traditional barbeque. The cottage has an alarm system for your peace of mind.

Our stay at De Volkshuijs was very memorable from the time we entered the cottage until we left...The cottage is very cosy and neat inside and we enjoyed a very nice braai in the enclosed courtyard...will definitely book again
