Hector's Bay Cottage is situated in a secure country estate( Skier Estates) on the Vaal Dam about 12kms from the small town of Oranjeville and is about 140kms from the centre of Johannesburg. This makes it an ideal location for anyone wanting to escape the rat race and enjoy a quiet, relaxing time with plenty of fresh air, good walks and fishing. Boating and watersport are a big attraction, but you would need to bring your own boat. Skier Estates on the Peninsula consists of Waterfront properties and the middle section of the estate is home to various antelope such as Gemsbok, Impala, Springbok, Blesbok but to name a few.

The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom has a shower only. The cottage is fully equipped. There is limited DSTV. Daily service can be arranged at an extra cost.

The cottage is 29kms from Deneysville where there are grocery stores and various eateries. The nearest doctor and pharmacy is in Deneysville. Oranjeville is 12kms away. Any basic supplies can be bought in Oranjeville and there are 2 eateries there.
