Die Rotse Host House & Self Catering is situated on Beach Road, Kleinmond in the Western Cape, South Africa.
Kleinmond, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes scenic drive from Cape Town International Airport, is on the western side of Sandown Bay between the Kogelberg mountain range and the rich Benguela sea current of the Atlantic Ocean.
Die Rotse Host House & Self-Catering is a seafront property located on a peaceful cul-de-sac bordering the Nature Reserve.
A 40 meter stroll will lead you to a natural tidal swimming pool and large inter-coastal tidal zone for hours of exploring in the unique ecosystem of the Kelp forest.
The main residence of your hosts, Werner and Lorraine Pauw, is a historic building with 'Landmark Status' built in early 1910 and totally restored under the guidance of the Overstrand Aesthetics Committee and is known as 'Die Rotse'.
In line with the look and feel of 'Die Rotse', two fully equipped 3 bedroom apartments, known as Spykerklip and Drievis makes up the rest of the complex.
Two fully equipped 3 bedroom apartments called Drievis and Spykerklip are available for holiday rental. Drievis is located on ground level, while Spykerklip is located on the upper level.
The accommodation includes a double garage that can house a ski-boat and two private garages for guests.
The two apartments share a spacious communal Barbeque area fully equipped with separate braai/BBQ facilities including a 'Weber' mobile barbeque unit. This facility also has an outside toilet with wash basin.
There is a separate barbeque area under the canopy of a fig tree next to the kiddies playground.
'Die Rotse' Self Catering Accommodation offers the visitor a tranquil setting on a totally secure 2500sq seafront property.
The grounds provide a private and secure kiddies playground and ample space for relaxing outdoors complete with herb and vegetable garden (subject to season).
