Bay View Self Catering, is a fully furnished home located on the beautiful Eastern Cape coast of Cannon Rocks. Bay View has an amazing 180 degree sea view and is only a few steps onto the beach. It overlooks 'The Bay' which is the swimming beach in Cannon Rocks. Watch the dolphins and whales from the comfort of just above every room in the house. Enjoy a glass of wine on the front deck whilst watching the sun set or watch the brightest milky way at night.
The house has 3 bedrooms (2 sleeper each), 2 bathrooms and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. It also include a laundry with washing machine, dishwasher and ample fridges and freezers.
Cannon Rocks is a quaint seaside town on the Indian Ocean, and is ideally located between Boknes and the boundary of the Greater Addo National Park and close to many other spa's and wild life lodges. Cannon Rocks is only 135 km from Port Elizabeth, 180 km from East London and approximately 15 minutes from the town of Kenton-on-Sea, making it an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area.
The town is named after two cannons of historical importance and is close to the Diaz cross, erected five centuries ago by Bartholomew Diaz, the first Portuguese ocean explorer to sail along the eastern coast of South Africa.
Cannon Rocks is one of the best kite surfing locations anywhere in the world, and also offers un-spoilt, uncrowded beaches. It is also a premier rock and surf angling destination, and there are plenty of hiking trails in the surrounding area. Abundant bird life is seen daily around the house.
Visit our local restaurant (ROES) and taste their excellent sea food and huge hamburgers.

The entire 3 bedroom home. First bedroom had an onsuite bathroom and a sea view. The second bedroom has a sea view and the third a garden view. The second and third bedroom share a bathroom. The open plan Lounge, dinning room and Kitchen all overlook the ocean as does the under cover patio.
There is a sleeper couch for an additional small child if required and R 300 additional charge per night.
