Situated on the edge of the Knysna Indigenous Forest in Knysna are two charming self-catering cottages: Woodcutters Cottage and Mellow Wood Cottage.
In both cottages the decor is a tasteful creation by the owners to compliment the surrounding nature. The cottages are fully equipped for self-catering. All linen, towels, cutlery and crockery are provided. The cottages are equipped with cozy fireplaces for winter. On the stoep you will find braai (barbecue) facilities.
It is a bird-watcher's paradise and offers an abundance of wildlife, and is also ideal for photographic outings with the Outeniqua Mountains in the north, the deep gorge of the Knysna and Homtini Rivers east and west, and the Rheenendal farming community and the ocean with Buffels Bay, Knysna and Sedgefield in the south.
