Probably one of the best beach getaways in S.A.
Come relax at this cosy getaway only 15 meters from the beach in close proximity of a tidal pool. We are located approximately 10 minutes from King Shaka International via the N2. This accommodation is self-catering and has been recently upgraded. We are the top unit as can be seen in image 2 of our gallery.
The unit has two bedrooms consisting of a double bed in the main bedroom and a double + single bed in the second room (5 guests). The building has a lock-up garage and a small lock-up safe is also provided. The kitchen is equipped with an oven/stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and a toaster. The bathroom includes a shower and bath. Braai facilities are on site and there is a beach shower as well.
We also provide free WiFi.
The android TV, in the lounge, is connected to OpenView.
NetFlix is provided free of charge.
You may connect your DSTV, ShowMax, Disney or other streaming accounts to the apps on the TV.
The complex has maids that will service the unit from Mon - Sat.

Location wise is this flat absolutely wonderful. On the beach. Go to sleep with the sound of the waves in your ears. The plusses first: 1 of course the location. 2. The kitchen looked like it was newly done, nice. 3. Walking distance from shops, the hotel and restaurants. 4. There were plastic containers available to use to store left-over or snacks, something one does not always find in self-catering facilities. 5. As we had problems with fridges before I was happy with the fridge which is small but works very well. 6. Nice outside shower. 7. The geyser is working properly and we were 4 never ran out of hot water. 8. Lock-up garage. Bit far but worth the while once you get to the flat and see the view!. On the other side the Nice to haves I missed was 1. an ironing board. 2, The main bedroom has very little cupboard space and only hanging with the smallest area at the top where the lockup safe is. 3. The kids bedroom has got plenty of space but to share with another couple might be uncomfortable. 4. There is no dishwasher and the maid only sweeps and sometimes washes the floor. She does not clean properly and I feel for the little she does take the money of the rate and I can sweep the floor myself as I have to do it in any case daily. 5. Very little cupboards available for groceries. This is self-catering afterall but by moving some stuff around one can make space available. 6. There was a creaking bed in the kids bedroom and with every turn and movement it can be heard. 7. There are no dish cloths in the kitchen. A little bit of soap was available. Fortunately I always pack a swab and dish towel. All in all one can make it work and enjoy the stay. THE ONE THING EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IN THE COMPLEX - THE OUTSIDE STEPS. Especially from the top flats. We had a lot of rain and those steps are EXTREMELY SLIPPERY. They need to get painted with something. We warned the kids constantly. One is nervous walking up or down the steps from the flat while carrying suitcases or bags as your hands are not free to hold. My husband did slip and fall the day before we return. He hurt his elbow badly and at first I thought we are going to need to find a hospital to get stitches looking at the amount of blood. Luckily we managed to stop it eventually. We were just grateful and blessed he did not fall backwards and hurt his head as that would have been a different story. But I will recommend this flat. Just come mentally prepared.
