Welcome to On The Bay, offering 3 star bed and breakfast accommodation for business executives, tourists and holiday makers. We are perfectly situated in Summerstrand just one block from PE’s popular beachfront. Whilst providing easy access to the beach which is a hive of activity boasting major water and sport events, we are proud to maintain peaceful tranquillity in the midst of our beautiful garden with only the sound of the waves lapping our shores.
All rooms have their own entrance, an en suite bathroom with shower, TV & satellite channels, bar fridge, toaster, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms offer self-catering facilities to prepare a light meal.
We offer immaculate facilities surrounded by a beautiful English garden boasting over 90 rose bushes. The rooms are vibrantly furnished and individually decorated offering a personal touch to make your stay special. All rooms offer a private entrance and a patio area. Secure on-site parking is available. Individual barbecue facilities can be arranged, or a general barbecue/entertainment area is available for your use. Fax and wireless ADSL internet facilities are available.
A short drive will take you to the airport (6km), university (9km), golf courses and sports stadiums. We are well positioned for Iron man and all major local and international sport events.
Just a 30-minute drive from On The Bay you will find our world famous malaria free Addo Elephant National Park and Schotia Safaris. Sunday’s River Adventures is situated alongside the Addo entrance and offers a large range of water sport and the largest Dune fields in the Southern Hemisphere. We are also ideally situated for day trips to Jeffrey’s bay, Cape St Francis, Tstsikamma and Storms River, Port Alfred, Kenton on Sea, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.
