Worcester
A quiet and friendly town. The people are humble and very friendly. I didn't feel at any point alienated. Love the old architecture and history of the town and it's buildings.

We enjoyed the Nuy Valley very much and were quite impressed about all the activity in that rather small area, from wine, olive products and fruit products (jam and preserves etc.) right up to the lovely eatery on the hill where you have to eat the black forest cake baked on the premises. Worcester itself had a lot of places still not open after the Christmas period during our visit early January, which was rather disappointing.

Worcester
Magnificent natural features and an interesting heritage area. Not many choices of restaurants, particularly during the new year holiday. Karoo Botanical Garden is a great spot to explore, provided you get an early start and avoid the mid-day heat.

Worcester has some hidden gems that I recently discovered. The Karoo National Botanical Garden is situated in a spectacular setting and the trail mapping out the plants was most interesting. The Brandwacht Mountains are really majestic.
