Bonnievale
Bonnievale is a Dorpie that I can visit only to experience the other side of city life - but would not be able to make it a permanent place to settle down in.
Will be back next year same time.

First visit to Bonnievale - romantically situated among the vineyards, it feels like a hometown visit.

Bonnievale is just another small town and like most small towns away from the City they present a different culture. I've been to Bonnievale some 15 years ago and nothing much has changed that I can think of. I can say that the people are quite friendly. Visitors from abroad could find the town and it's outskirts very interesting.

If you like wine, antiques and fishing, Bonnievale is the dorpie to visit. I like all three so was a very happy camper!! Ate dinner at Filly & Vine and it was nothing spectacular but was good enough. Friendly owner and staff. Lots of antique shops with great variety of stock at reasonable prices. All in all a quaint little town with mainly locals hanging around and not over run by tourists.

Such a cute little town. This was our first visit there, wish we could have spent more time exploring and visiting all the different places.

Bonnievale is a very quaint town and sits along the breede river. It is surrounded by the wine lands which makes it so special.
