Glen Austin A.H. is a suburb located in the far north of Johannesburg. It forms part of the larger area known as Midrand. Midrand refers to the Johannesburg suburbs found north of the Jukskei River, clustered around the N1 highway. It was once an independent municipality known as Halfway House, thanks to its location halfway between Johannesburg and Pretoria, but now forms part of the greater Johannesburg municipality.
Glen Austin A.H. is a semi-rural area located in the centre of Midrand. Its situation is desirable thanks to its proximity to the N1 freeway, which connects Johannesburg and Pretoria. It is close to both of these major Gauteng cities and is an easy drive from the OR Tambo International Airport.
The suburb is a pleasant one to base yourself in thanks to the space afforded to each property.
