An amazing town. Rich in history and nostalgia.

This was our sixth or seventh visit for the National Arts Festival; we've also been to G'town on other occasions, several times since 1976. It is not the easiest place for wheelchairs, but we managed practically everywhere. G'town people whether festivos or G'towners were extremely helpful, friendly and made us feel "at home". Thank you, Grahamstown for another amazing festival.

Grahamstown - my son's new home for the next four years, while studying at Rhodes! It is a beautiful small town, ideal for students who can walk everywhere they need to be. Stunning area of the Eastern Cape, with a lot to see and do in close proximity. Talented artists and craftsmen reside in and around Grahamstown. Towns such as Bathurst, Port Alfred, Port Elizabeth and East London just a short drive away.

A fascinating, historic town. Worth spending more time to explore.

A charming safe place with interested buildings and church. The population are welcoming and the most important thing is that you can walk in the street feeling safed.
