Greyton is a jewel of a little town with a large electric personality. It's hardly a one street town. The restaurants are on par with the vaunted Franschoek ones, the local superette on par with the best in Cape Town and even the little filling station is filled with charm. Great physical beauty is best appreciated when accompanied by excellent service, great food and friendly helpful residents. Viva Greyton!!

Greyton is a lovely, quirky town. It is a village with lots of character - donkeys roaming, a chocolate shop, a nature reserve etc. We popped into the tourist info and got a list of eating establishments and when they open, but beware - times seem to vary according to village rules!!
