Cape Town International Boat Show 2016
The annual Cape Town International Boat Show is South Africa’s premier boating and water sports show. It is a veritable highlight on the local event calendar for many Cape Tonians, and is the only show serving the leisure sector of the industry.
The event will be held from 14-16 October 2016 and this year, the entire show is being held at the V&A Waterfront and not at the CTICC. The show is in its 16th year running and is the only exhibition endorsed by the Marine Industry Association of South Africa.
The Cape Town International Boat Show is warmly referred to as 'the granddaddy of boat shows on the African continent' and has been attracting thousands of boat-mad visitors since it was first established. Visitors can expect to see the showcasing of exotic boats, boating-related products and an assortment of paraphenalia. In addition there will be events, demonstrations and competitions with fabulous prizes.
Last year's show included an events and hospitality programme extending to S.A.’s No. 1 Tourist destination, the V&A Waterfront, against the backdrop of one of the Natural Wonders of the World, Table Mountain.
