China Trade Week 2016
The inaugural China Trade Week will be held at the Durban International Convention Centre from 18-20 May 2016. The event is an opportunity for corporates and the region's business community to meet, discuss and develop trading relationships with Chinese companies.
Certain key commercial products will be showcased, including consumer goods, clothing and textile, packaging and plastics and gifts and toys. There will be over 200 exhibitors who will be putting their wares on display while divulging expert advice to attendees.
This event is not merely an exhibition, but a manifestation of endless opportunities for men and women who are looking to get in the know-how. This will be the first time that a comprehensive China-focussed trading event will be hosted on South African shores.
Highlights of the event to look forward to including a Trade and Investment Forum, which provides Chinese companies with information on South Africa's business environment, regulations and local investment programs. There will also be a China Trade Week Gala Dinner that will be hosted by the organisers of the event. Diners can look forward to performances of Chinese Kunfu and dance. During the dinner, there will be a prize giving, where attendees stand the chance of winning Iphones and Ipads.
The event runs over three days and provides endless opportunities for South African corporates to network with Chinese companies
