Franschhoek Bastille Festival 2025 - 2

Get ready – one of the Cape’s most iconic winter events is back! The Franschhoek Bastille Festival returns for its 33rd edition on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July 2025, with Prescient once again as the official partner.

This year brings a fresh twist with a brand-new location in the heart of the village – the Hospice parking area – setting the scene for a vibrant celebration of all things French: wine, food, music and flair.

Festivalgoers can enjoy the popular ticketed marquee experience, which includes a souvenir glass and 10 wine tasting tokens, alongside cheese tastings, artisanal stalls, live music, and the much-loved best-dressed competition – so get your red, white, and blue ready!

A new highlight for 2025 is Uncorked Exclusive – a more intimate tasting experience featuring premium wines from select valley producers.

Outside the marquee, the village buzzes with energy as Church Street and Celebration Square transform into a bustling food fair filled with flavour, entertainment, and street performances.

The music lineup brings serious flair with Rhythm DiVine and their mix of funky DJ beats and live sax, violin, and percussion, while Cape Town favourites Tuxedo take the stage with high-energy hits.

It all kicks off with a vibrant opening ceremony, so be sure to arrive early and soak up every moment. Franschhoek Bastille 2025 is set to be a weekend of wine, food, fun and festive spirit you won’t want to miss!
