Hermanus Times Kalfiefees 2018 - 15
The Hermanus Kalfiefees is a highly anticipated cultural festival which coincides with the arrival of the Southern Right Whales, which is why the festival was given its name. The annual six-day event takes place in Onrus from 8-12 August 2018.
Apart from the star attractions, the Southern right whales, the Afrikaans-centred festival showcases the local talent - from productions and exhibitions to musical performances and topical discussions.
The Hermanus Kalfiefees has been running for 18 years and is considered an offset of the renowned Hermanus Whale Festival.
The show opens on the evening of the 8th of August and runs through till Sunday, August 12th in the afternoon.
