Terra Love: The Conscious Movie Fest 2016
Terra Love, in association with The Galileo Open Aired Theatre, will be hosting their inaugural conscious movie festival from 7-8 May 2016. The one-night event will take place at the Nederburg Wine Farm in Paarl.
The aims of the organisers are to promote the love of our earth by providing environmentally-friendly solutions to the issues that society faces. This shall be done by screening a series of inspiring, thought-provoking and revolutionary documentaries that are bound to get the creative juices flowing. In between the movie-watching, discussions will be had on how to sustainable living.
Nederburg Wine Farm, located a mere 30-minute drive from the city centre of Cape Town, was incepted in 1791. Today it produced numerous award-winning varietals, and with its sprawling lawns, picturesque vineyards and views of the mountains, it is the ideal venue for an outdoor movie screening.
Just like any other movie-watching experience, attendees are encouraged to get comfortable. Bring your blankets, camping chairs and don your favourite pajamas. The hungry will be able to purchase a wide variety of grub from the all-night vendors. If you're looking to buy some memorabilia, alternate exhibitors will be selling a miscellany of wares.
