Overview

Bietjie Vrede is a privately owned rustic wedding and function venue with self-catering accommodation.
The establishment is situated in the beautiful Buffelspoort valley at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains. The five units of which two 6 bed units and three 4 bed units can accommodate 24 guests in total. Each unit has its own fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes. The guest farm offers a quiet breakaway weekend from the rat race of Gauteng and is a about 1 hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The pool has a build in seat all round for those who just want to relax while enjoying a Sundowner. The Lapa with braai area makes an excellent gathering space for friends and families.
We have boma area where you can enjoy a relaxing evening around a cozy fire.

The Chapel can seat up to 100 guests for a wedding or special birthday celebration.

Our diverse venue can host any type of function whether it's a bachelors or baby shower or family reunion.

Bietjie Vrede is just 20 km from Rustenburg and 10 km from Buffelspoort. The Buffelspoort dam is about 5 km away for those who enjoy fishing or water sports. Magalies Canopy tours is a mere 1 km away for an amazing Zipline experience. Horse riding is just across the road from us.

The Buffalo Unit

This self-catering unit has one bedroom, a living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has 2 single beds, a television with open view. It has a patio that has a view to the garden and swimming pool. Braai facilities available.

The Elephant Unit

Elephant has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and an open-plan kitchen. The main bedroom sleeps two guests, the second bedroom 2-3 guests and there's a Single bed in the living area. The unit has a patio that overlooks the garden and swimming pool. Braai facilities available.

The Leopard Unit

Leopard has one bedroom with king-size bed and an open-plan kitchen/living room area has 2 single beds. The patio overlooks the garden and swimming pool. Braai facilities available.

The Lion Unit

Lion is a self-catering unit with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The main bedroom sleeps two guests and the second bedroom sleeps 2 - 3. The open plan living room area sleeps 1 guest on a single bed. The patio overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. Braai facilities available.

The Rhino Unit

The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area has 2 single beds and a television. Patio overlooks garden and swimming pool. Braai facilities available.
