Kulanga Cottages B&B have been hosting regular guests since 2000, offering a unique African experience. We are situated in the well established, quiet suburb of Linden, yet a stone's throw away from the heart of our vibrant 'Jozi', and close to all major freeways and tourist attractions.
A beautiful tranquil garden is the perfect setting to enjoy the wondrous proliferation of African bird life! Our four thatch cottages which all have their own unique contemporary African ambiance, are situated in such a way that complete privacy is ensured. The cottages have their own patio, TV, tables / desks, fan/heater, alarm clock, fridge, microwave and coffee and tea making facilities.
Our cottage ‘Nyanga’ have twin beds, a kitchenette and private bathroom.
Our stunning honeymoon/family cottage, ‘UMNDENI’, has two double beds in an open plan setting. Private bathroom with shower and enormous bath with mosaic inlay.
Our romantic thatch cottages ‘KUNYE’ and "Langa" has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower.
Our four studios 'AMANZI', 'INHLABATHI', 'UMLILO' AND 'UMOYA'. Two are ground floor rooms with entrance via a small private patio. The other two are upstairs rooms with a balcony. One Studio downstairs has two twins beds whilst the other has a queen bed. One Studio upstairs has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds and stunning African decor.
Free Wi-Fi is available. Secure, remote controlled parking is available on the property.
There is a great variety of popular (half) day-trips in and around Johannesburg to be experienced, and we will gladly book these for you. Airport transfers are available on request.
We are conveniently close to many restaurants in Linden, Parkhurst, Melville, Greenside and Rosebank. We are centrally located to Business Centres, Conference Centres, Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals, Universities and Airports. Shopping malls, grocery stores, golf courses and sports clubs are nearby. Lastly, Delta Park and Emmerentia Botanical Gardens are 5 minutes drive away from us.

Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.
