Tamapa Lodge is a family run business that offers luxurious rooms with the lodge built right on the beach. Enjoy the magnificent view from your private balcony or from the well stocked bar. The bar has two inside braai places (barbeques) and one out on the balcony.
The dining room is intimate with a double sided fireplace to warm the room in winter. The Lodge has a warm, rustic African feel with plenty of natural wood and stone used in the décor.
There are rooms to meet your various needs: there are family rooms which are larger than the others with double beds and bunk beds; there are rooms on the first floor with magnificent views and private balconies; and there are rooms on the ground floor that overlook the indoor pool.
All the rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and enjoy the luxury of air conditioning units to make your stay that much more comfortable.
Only 8km from Port Elizabeth, this 14-bedroom lodge is within walking-distance of all your shopping, medical, fitness, vehicle and entertainment necessities. Only a 20 minute drive from Addo Elephant Park and many other Game Reserves, Whale and Dolphin Watching, Crocodile Farm, Fishing, Golf Clubs, Casino, Museums, Bayworld, Water Sports, Restaurants and much more within a comfortable distance.

Our stay at Tamapa Lodge was amazing. We loved every moment. The breakfast was delicious! Our Host Danie was very friendly and professional and always willing to help if we needed anything. We will most certainly like to go back to Tamapa Lodge. Great facilities!

I always try to find a small nice property instead of big international chains in every trip I do and after staying in many hotels of this kind we are 100% sure that Tamapa Lodge was an excellent choice.
The friendly staff is welcoming and helpful. I realy enjoyed my stay at Tamapa
