Accommodation near Dungeons Beach
Dungeons Beach is well known by many surfers but has potentially only been visited by the best of the best. The cold Atlantic water, the unpredictable waves and hazardous conditions make this a beach for professionals only.
The beach is accessible by a 15 minute boat ride from Hout Bay Harbour in Cape Town and is the most extreme surf beach in South Africa. It consists of a collection of shallow open reefs with sheer wave faces of 15 - 25 ft. Dungeons Beach is also home to the Red Bull Big Wave Africa Contest which takes place every Winter and is made up of the world's top national and international surfers.

Hout Bay is a great location. Plenty of restaurants. Easy to get onto Chapman's Peak Drive. Easy to get to the nightlife in Camps Bay. Easy to visit Kirstenbosch and Constantia wine farms... Definitely my favourite place to stay.
