Few people know about the Higgovale Quarry. The quarry, which can be found just above the Molteno reservoir, has a number of rock faces for climbers and adventurists to conquer. If you’re a beginner, then the Higgovale Quarry is a good first climb. If you’re not much of a climber, you’re more than able to relax in the tranquil surrounds.
Found nearby is the upscale V&A Waterfront, one of South Africa’s most visited destinations. Those who visit will be amazed at the constant hive of activity, where tourists and residents mill around shopping for designer wear at top-of-the-range boutiques or dine at one of the restaurants. While the shops and cuisine are two major attractions, the V&A Waterfront is also home to the Two Oceans Aquarium. This is certainly an exciting family day out, where visitors will be able to enjoy a fascinating underwater world.
