The Buffeslpoort Valley is an extraordinarily scenic area in the Magaliesberg Mountain Range. The area lies between Pretoria in Gauteng and Rustenberg in the North West province. The Buffelspoort Valley is home to a number of dams such as the Buffeslpoort Dam and Olifantsnek, both of which are hubs of recreational development with many self-catering cottages guest-houses and BnB’s popping up to cater for fishing and water sport fanatics.
