Just 8 kilometres from La Lucia is also the popular Sibaya Casino and under 6 kilometres away you’ll find the hundreds of year’s old indigenous woodland, Hawaan Forest.
La Lucia gained its name from the founder of the sugar cane farm it developed on, namely La Lucia Farm. La Lucia farm was founded by Lucia Michel and her husband Albert Michel.
